My name is Billy Wickfield and I run B W Construction Services, a building company based in Hartland, North Devon. I started my career as a Architectural Technician through an apprenticeship where i carried out Building and Land Surveys, produced proposed and existing CAD Plans, i was also a accredited SAP Surveyor too. After 4 years in the Architecture industry i felt the need to gain practical construction knowledge. After gaining 5 years of practical building experience i decided it was the right time to combine both trades to create B W Construction Services.

 

Up to date i have now been in the building trade for 15 years and have completed a 'National Btec in construction & the built environment' and a NVQ in Building Maintenance Multi-trade Repair and Refurbishment Operations. During the last 9 years I have been able use my knowledge of building construction in Devon and Somerset Fire service where I am a retained Firefighter, whilst also gaining valuable training and experience which I can use at my workplace.

 

B W Construction Services offer a wide range of construction services including: Architectural plans, planning applications, general building work, extensions, alterations and renovations, landscaping and property maintenance.

 

Owning the company means I personally work on site, oversee and project manage the work being carried out. We can take your project ideas from sketches through to drawn up plans and are able to take care of  the planning process submitting the necessary paperwork, we offer a package from planning stages, through the construction stage to completion, and even the maintenance after.

On larger projects I have a great team at my disposal with many qualifications, different attributes and a wealth of experience that can assist in all aspects of the building trade.
